Lamoine State Park, Maine

Lamoine State Park Lamoine State Park offers a campground and day-use facility nestled in the heart of Downeast Maine. Our oceanfront park is located in Maine’s most sought-after vacation region and is easily accessible from both Coastal Route 1 and Route 1A (from Bangor and US Route 95). We are located on Route 184, eight miles south of Ellsworth, and there are signs to direct you right to the park. The park provides easy access to seaside towns, rock-bound islands, lighthouses, and more. At Lamoine, visitors enjoy camping, boating, fishing, and simple relaxation in a beautiful site which is a quiet alternative to the crowds of Mount Desert Island. Our central location makes Lamoine the perfect choice for vacationers who wish to be close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, and still enjoy a semi-wild camping experience. Park staff are always happy to offer many suggestions for scenic drives, local events and interests, and other enjoyable activities on, or off the beaten path. Day
