The Law of Attraction is a Secret You Should Know

''If you can see it clearly in your mind, you can hold it in your hands.''

 by Michael Corthell

What is one of the secrets of getting what you want out of life? The 'secret' in attracting what you want or the person you want to become?

The Law of Attraction is the belief that by focusing on either positive or negative thoughts a person chooses to bring positive or negative experiences into their life.

We all are subject to the governing laws of the Universe. One of those governing laws is the Law of Attraction. It is also known as Karma. Emerson talked about it in his famous essay, Compensation.

''It is one of the most beautiful compensations of this life that no person can sincerely try to help another without helping him or herself. Serve and you shall be served. If you love and serve people, you cannot, by any hiding or stratagem, escape the remuneration.''

The Law of Attraction is the attractive, magnetic power of the Universe that draws similar energy and matter together. Gravity, that physical aspect of the Law of Attraction is the attractive force that clumps hydrogen together, squeezes it together to form the stars and in turn their planets—producing solar systems.

The Law of Attraction is true, next to the true nature of God, one of our reality's biggest mysteries. Few people are fully and truly cognizant of the critical importance of the Law of Attraction, and its impact on their day-to-day lives.

Every single moment of our existence, we are generating a 'magnetic field'—sending out thoughts, colored by emotion. This 'power' pulls back to us, in kind, what we are sending out.

Much of humanity is still blind to the potential that lies within us, and it is very easy for most, to leave their thoughts and emotions loose and undisciplined, thereby sending out the dark, negative thoughts and attracting more darkness into their lives.

The 'Secret'

The 'secret' as many would like to call it, manifests itself through the power of creation, everywhere and in many ways. This law attracts creative thoughts, actionable ideas, people, situations and even 'lucky' or 'unlucky' events and circumstances. It is a 'secret' that has been hiding in plain sight. It is simple and it is universal.

The Law of Attraction shows itself through your thoughts. By consciously thinking positive thoughts we start a process. We then attract even more positive thoughts into our minds—thoughts and ideas of a similar kind, people who think like you, and corresponding scenarios and circumstances.

The Law of Attraction is the power that brings together people who have similar interests, who unite into various groups. This 'secret' law has been recognized for a long time as, ''Birds of a feather, flock together.''

The Law of Attraction is based on, and dependent on a positive mindset—that is the true 'secret' and as I have stated elsewhere many times, there is just no other pathway to a happy, fulfilling life.

Simple Steps

Decide what you want. What is your primary purpose in life? You need a specific focus, not just some fuzzy, nebulous idea.

Ask the Universe (God) for what you want. Make your request. Visualize sending a picture of what you want to God (or picture sending him an email!). God will answer, you can be sure of that. See this thing or feeling as already being yours, in your possession. The more detailed the better. Develop as passion to achieve what you want—a burning desire for it.

Have faith. You must absolutely believe, with no reservation. Trust God. Know that your request has already been granted and that you can see it, right now, before your eyes.

Feel it. Feel the emotion of what you are going to attract into your life. Is it love? Someone to love and love you back? Feel it. 'Take a bath' in that feeling.

Be grateful. When the object or feeling of your desire manifests itself, say THANK YOU! The more gratitude we show God, the more God (the Universe) will give us to be grateful for.

Give back. Practice charity. Give and do all you can for everyone that you can. This is the highest form of gratitude. It is also the great commandment. 'Givers Get' is a true statement of fact.

The Universe is a dynamic place, it is infinite and stunningly beautiful. It is absolutely full of life. Whatever can be imagined and held in our mind’s eye and focused upon can be achieved. Believe it and live it.
