Givers Get

by Michael Corthell
'Givers get', what does that mean and is it true?
I have found that after closely watching how salespeople operate, the most productive ones are actually those who put their customers’ interests first. Most of us, through experience come to realize that it is the givers who get the most goodness out of life.

Givers have a reputation for freely sharing what they know, transferring their skills to others, and helping people find jobs without worrying about ''what’s in it for them''.

''I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver.''
Maya Angelou
Many studies have shown that when one person in a community becomes a giver, it causes others in the community to give, and will then create a chain of giving that is contagious.
Giving is the divine side human nature. We all benefit when we give.
It is a proven fact that the good guys do finish first, not last.
Giving is a requirement for a stable society. Giving is the glue that holds civilization together.
Giving Always Results in Receiving. Give away your life; you'll find life given back, but not merely given back—given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way to abundance.
Giving Energizes Us and Gives Us Power. When we give to our neighbors, we give to God. And our gift allows God the opportunity to bless us. We set in motion God’s principles of biblical economics. (The Laws of Compensation and Attraction) Our giving unleashes God’s power in all areas of our lives.
Giving Will Spread Faith(and abundance) to Others. People observe the spirit of giving in action and say, ''I want what they have''. There is more in the Bible about money and earthly possessions than there is about faith, prayer and even healing. Giving of ourselves shows the world who the faithful are and spreads God's message.
God’s Giving Guarantee is a Law. We who practice giving know that giving releases a supernatural 'miracle-working' power in and through our lives. This law is as powerful and as dependable as any natural law. It is no less strong and pervasive than gravity. ''Give to others, and you will receive. You will be given much. It will be poured into your hands—more than you can hold. You will be given so much that it will spill into your lap.
The way you give to others is the way God will give to you.''
―Jesus, (God incarnate), Luke 6:38

''Every defect in one manner is made up in another.
Every suffering is rewarded; every sacrifice is made up; every debt is paid.''

―Ralph Waldo Emerson, Essay: Compensation
