The Universal Law of Cause and Effect | The Basics
Doing right gets good results, doing wrong gets bad results.
If your attitude reeks of ill-will that's most likely what you'll attract.

The law of cause and effect is one of the 12 universal laws of the universe. (The videos at the end give you an overview of this and all the universal laws.)
The law of cause and effect states that nothing happens by chance or outside the Universal Laws. Every action has a reaction or consequence and we "reap what we have sown."
Studying causes and their effects is simply an attempt to understand why things happen as they do.
Many professions do this—accident investigators, scientists, historians, doctors, newspaper reporters, automobile mechanics, educators, police detectives, to name a few.
All these disciplines spend considerable amount of time trying to understand the causes and effects of both human behavior and natural phenomena to gain better control over events and over societal behavior.
''Shallow men believe in luck. Strong men believe in cause and effect.''
—Ralph Waldo Emerson
How then can we understand the Law of cause and effect on a personal level to help us avoid some of the negative consequences in life?
Nothing just happens, everything happens for a reason. If you can accept and understand that, you can use that knowledge to your benefit.
Duplication of actions. The very definition of the Law of cause and effect almost guarantees that if you want to be successful in business, in your relationship, in whatever situation or endeavor, you should be able to exert the same causes that others have done and achieve the same success (effect).
Find out the Cause & Effect relationships in the areas of your life where you need to be more successful. If you want a specific result in your life, identify the things you will need to do in order to get the results that you want.
YOU have to act. The first step in taking action is to start right where you are and do whatever it is that needs to be done. Remember, 'Faith Without Works is Dead'. 80 percent of success is showing up and being ready to work.
Perseverance and Stick-to-itiveness. If you take action and do the things that others have done, eventually you’ll end up with the same results.
The concept discussed here is very straightforward and very simple: "If I knock that glass over (cause), the water will spill (effect)," but all of us lose sight of its simplicity from time to time. Is it laziness, magical thinking or pain and discomfort avoidance? Yes it is all of those things.
Here is a common example, one we all can relate to. We all know that how and what we eat is the cause of our good or bad health nearly all the time. I'm excluding accidents and congenital defects of course. Most of us can do something about our health. Again, it's cause and effect.
Nothing in life ''just happens''. Look closely at your life. Choose wisely and your good positive life will arrive.
