Manifesting Reality from a Christian Perspective

"Christian Manifesting''
"Christianity, specifically Jesus' teachings, remind us: When you pray with an unwavering belief that your request is already granted, your desires will find their way into objective reality. Faith is the spark that ignites the manifestation of our desires."

In this exploration, I bridge the deep meaning of Christianity with the transformative concept of conscious manifestation. Through a fresh lens, I uncover how biblical principles align with the power of the mind, offering insights into how our consciousness shapes our reality within the context of Christian faith. As we take a focused look into these timeless truths, I invite you to open your mind and heart to the possibility that the keys to personal growth, fulfillment, and the realization of your deepest desires lie within the realm of your own awareness.

In this brief essay, I hope to inspire you to unlock the boundless potential of your consciousness and embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation. Stay tuned for an upcoming essay where we will dig into the same topic, this time from a Buddhist perspective, expanding our understanding of these universal principles. Decreeing Your Reality

Empowering Your Mind

Can a person manifest their thoughts into reality? The answer is a resounding yes! Throughout history, humans have wielded the power of their thoughts to shape their world. This practice continues today, as long as individuals remain aware of their human existence. Everything we observe around us has come into being through the thoughts, or "decrees," of humans. While this may be contested, it is a timeless principle rooted in the unchanging laws of existence. This process does not entail loudly proclaiming or repetitively affirming one's desires but rather centers on one's state of consciousness and beliving that your wish, prayer, or desire has already be fulfilled.

The Bible Reimagined

A Psychological Drama

Let's consider the complete Bible from a fresh perspective – not as simply as a historical record or biography but as a profound psychological narrative unfolding within the human psyche. If you embrace this viewpoint, you can embark on a transformational journey, turning your life from one of struggle into one of fulfillment, much like the biblical promise.

Understanding the Nature of God

Identity and Nature of God

While many agree that everything is created by God, there is much disagreement about the identity and nature of God across different religions and belief systems. However, the Bible presents a consistent view: Moses and the prophets saw God as human awareness of existence. This is evident in phrases such as "I AM hath sent me unto you." (See: Exodus 3)

Key Biblical Insights

Awakening the Power Within

David's psalms invite us to "Be still and know that I AM God," and Isaiah reinforces this by declaring, "I AM the Lord, and there is no other." Jesus' teachings align with these findings, emphasizing "I AM" repeatedly. This awareness of being as God is echoed throughout the New Testament.

The Power of Consciousness

Consciousness as the Resurrecting Force

Consciousness is the force that brings things to life, materializing what we are aware of being. This is the liberating truth – we either confine ourselves or set ourselves free through our consciousness. In other words, as you think, so you are.

Rebirth Through Consciousness

Transforming Your Reality

If you are dissatisfied with your current life situation, the path to change lies in shifting your focus from your present state to your desired one. You cannot serve two masters, so leaving behind your current state of consciousness to embrace a new one is akin to being born again.

The Ultimate Question

Identity and Self-Perception

The question, "Whom do you say that I am?" is not directed at a historical figure named Peter but rather at your own identity. In other words, "Who do you perceive yourself to be?" Your self-conception shapes your life. "You believe in God—believe also in me" implies that your inner self is this God.

Prayer Reimagined

Self-Recognition and Manifestation

Prayer, in this context, is not a plea to an external deity but rather a recognition of yourself as what you desire to become. This clarifies why many prayers go unanswered. To manifest your desires successfully, you should claim what you desire rather than beg for it. For example, if you desire good health, picture yourself healthy doing healthy things, and believe you are already healthy. (see: Mark 11:24-25)

Unlocking the Secrets of Prayer

Shutting the Door to Transformation

Remember the advice to "go within in secret and shut the door" when you pray? The "door" represents your awareness of being. Shutting this door involves shifting your awareness from your current state to your desired one. When your claim is deeply felt, your desire begins to materialize.

Manifestation Through Consciousness

Consciousness as the Path

Do not fret about the how of your desires' manifestation, for consciousness is the path through which they appear. Jesus affirmed, "I AM the way," signifying that things follow consciousness; they do not precede it (Ask and you will receive).

Seeking the Kingdom Within

Consciousness as the Key

"Seek ye first the kingdom of Heaven, and all things shall be added unto you" suggests focusing on the consciousness of what you desire, and manifestations will naturally follow. The story of Mary symbolizes this process – she conceived without physical union.

Transformation Through Consciousness

Conceiving Your Desires

To manifest your desires, unite your awareness with what you desire, breathing life into it. Your present beliefs, fears, and limitations act as anchors to your current consciousness. To change, shed these constraints and focus on simply "I AM." When your consciousness expands to embrace your desire, it becomes second nature, and you give life to your aspiration.

The Creative Power of Words

Agreement of Consciousness

The story of creation in the Book of John begins with "In the beginning was the word." This moment is the inception of a desire. The "word" is that desire, swimming in your consciousness, seeking to take form. The crucial step is aligning your desire with your awareness to grant it reality. This agreement between your consciousness and your desire leads to its manifestation.

Agreement Within

Consciousness and Desire Unite

This agreement doesn't happen between two individuals; it occurs within your awareness. When you feel "I AM healthy," that's the agreement between your awareness and health. Your consciousness solidifies your reality, and your environment reflects it.

Change Your Consciousness, Change Your Life

Transforming Through Awareness

To transform your life, you must alter your consciousness. Your surroundings mirror your thoughts and beliefs. The Bible's teachings focus on the power of human consciousness. Understanding this concept can bring about profound changes in your life. In summary, the wisdom within Christian teachings aligns seamlessly with the age-old principle of conscious manifestation. By understanding and harnessing the power of consciousness, we hold the key to transformation. Embracing this concept empowers us to change our consciousness, ultimately reshaping our lives to reflect our deepest desires and highest aspirations.
